Installing BookMaker™ 2.2 software

The BookMaker software can be downloaded for free onto your PC. BookMaker is fast because your photos and book reside on your PC. No internet connection is required to create your book! When your book is done, it is uploaded via the internet.

Free Hard Disk Space
100 MB for installation
200 MB for application data
(digital Jpeg photos and saved book files)
1. Double-click on the My Computer Icon
2. Right-click on Local Drive (C:)
3. Left-Click on Properties
4. The amount of used and free space is listed here
5. If your operating system needs more free hard disk space, you can perform a disk clean up. Please refer to your operating system user's guide for instructions.
Internet Connection

BookMaker works with all internet connection types including dial-up*, however we strongly recommend DSL, broadband, or cable for uploading books.

* Dial-Up connections will require longer uploading time

NOTE: If you use AOL, please make sure Internet Explorer is set as your default browser.

Monitor

Color monitor that can display at least 16-bit Color

Recommended: 1024 x 768 screen resolution (or higher)

For optimum performance, we recommend that you run only BookMaker. Close all other software programs. To ensure easy navigation and maximum functionality, store only those pictures you are currently working with in BookMaker.

Work on one book at a time. When creating multiple books, Export the different books onto your desktop and access them when you need to work on one.
