MyPublisher Announces Milestone:
Over 1 Million downloads of BookMaker Software in 2007
NEW YORK, NY – December 12, 2007 – MyPublisher, Inc., a leading creator and distributor of branded photo book software and digital printing services, announced today that its free BookMaker software has been downloaded more than one million times in the first 11 months of 2007.
“It took nearly 3 years for us to reach the first million downloads of BookMaker,” said Carl Navarre, MyPublisher founder and CEO. “Now, in the first 11 months of 2007 we’ve had another one million plus downloads. We have grown from a period of strong growth to a new period of hyper-growth. This year alone, in 2007 we’ve already printed over 50 million photos and published them in custom photo books for our customers.”
BookMaker, MyPublisher’s desktop-based, consumer-focused page-and-book layout tool, was first offered to the public in late 2003. Since then it has been upgraded continuously, responding to customer requests for a variety of new features. Total downloads of Bookmaker to date exceed 2 million.
